Kora supports Ethernet (recommended) and Wi-Fi connections.

Before You Begin

A hardwired connection provides the most stable performance and is strongly recommended whenever possible.

Steps

  1. Locate the Ethernet port inside the Smart Panel communications area.
  2. Connect a CAT5e or CAT6 cable from the panel to your router or network switch.
  3. Ensure the cable is fully seated on both ends.
  4. Wait up to 2 minutes for Kora to automatically establish a connection.

Once connected, the panel will appear Online in the Kora app.

Option 2: Connect via Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is supported when Ethernet is not practical.

Wi-Fi Requirements

Steps

  1. Open the Kora app.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Network Setup.
  3. Select your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Enter the network password.
  5. Confirm connection.

If the signal is weak, consider relocating the router or using a mesh extender.
