EV Charger Integration

(Tesla, ChargePoint, Wallbox, and Others) EV chargers can be wired through Kora for monitoring, remote control, and backup management. Kora does not replace charger-native smart features but can coordinate charging with energy availability.

Supported Configurations

• Level 2 chargers on dedicated circuits

• Single-phase residential installations

• Chargers with or without built-in networking

Installation Notes

• Size breaker and conductors per charger specs

• EV chargers are typically marked non-essential for backup

• High inrush current should be considered

Optional Automation

• Pause charging during peak rates

• Disable charging during outages

• Resume charging when solar or off-peak power is available

Verification

• Charger visible as a circuit in app

• Remote on/off control confirmed

• Behavior tested during simulated outage
