(PV Rapid Shutdown Compliance) Meeting Solar Safety Requirements For PV systems, fire safety and rapid shutdown (RSD) requirements are handled at the PV system level, not within the Smart Panel itself.

Rapid Shutdown (RSD)

• RSD is provided by PV inverters or module-level devices

• Required by NEC 690 for firefighter safety

• Kora does not generate or bypass RSD signals

Kora’s Role

• Kora respects inverter shutdown states

• Does not interfere with PV rapid shutdown behavior

• Continues to isolate loads safely during emergencies
