Surge Protection and Grounding

Protecting Against Voltage Spikes and Faults Kora is designed to work with proper grounding and surge protection devices to reduce damage from lightning, utility disturbances, and switching events.

Grounding and Bonding

• Grounding and bonding must comply with NEC Article 250

• Neutral and ground configuration must match system design

• All grounding conductors must be properly sized and terminated

Surge Protection

• Surge protection devices (SPDs) may be installed upstream or at service equipment

• Kora-compatible installations must maintain bonding continuity

• Surge events do not affect Kora’s core safety protections
