Kora supports industrial communication protocols to enable integration with external energy systems, controllers, and monitoring platforms. These interfaces are intended for advanced integrations and commissioning scenarios.

Modbus Overview
Modbus TCP enables read/write access to selected system registers, including:
• Aggregate power measurements
• Circuit-level status
• Import/export values
• Battery and DER state indicators
Modbus access is typically read-only by default unless explicitly enabled.
CANbus Overview
CANbus is used for:
• Internal communication with Powerblocks and other subsystems
• Real-time control signaling
• Low-latency device coordination
CANbus wiring and termination must follow Kora and device-specific guidelines.
Important Notes
• Improper Modbus or CANbus configuration can affect system stability
• Do not connect third-party controllers without approval
• Always document protocol settings for future service
