1. Advanced Relays & Protection Each circuit in the panel is powered through high-performance relays. These allow precise and reliable switching without the wear and tear of mechanical breakers. They are also able to very precisely measure how much current, voltage, and power is being used.
2. Built-in Safety & Reliability The panel includes overcurrent protection, arc fault detection, surge protection, and complies with UL and IEEE safety standards.
3. Metrology & Monitoring A dedicated metering subsystem measures voltage, current, frequency, and power quality at sub-second resolution. This ensures precise billing-grade data for both the homeowner and the utility.
4. Power Supply & Efficiency The panel is powered by a high-efficiency isolated power supply using GaN-based converters (over 92% efficient), ensuring reliable operation even in low-load or outage conditions. This means the Kora Smart Panel isn't wasting power when it's idle and doesn't add to your Phantom Load problem.

Integration with Batteries, Solar and the Grid Through CAN Bus and SunSpec Modbus protocols, the panel communicates with inverters and batteries like the Kora Powerbocks and with the grid for Kora Energy Trading.
